Email gets checked once or twice a day, and Facebook notifications drown among page comments and group posts. Telegram, on the other hand, is something many media buyers open dozens of times a day. That makes it a natural place for ad account alerts: a clear message, at the right moment, in an app you're already looking at.
Why Telegram?
- Fast and instant on phone and desktop at the same time.
- Bots work with commands: type a short command and get an answer in seconds, without opening a dashboard.
- Separate from Facebook noise: ad alerts don't get mixed up with page and group notifications.
- A searchable history: every alert and report lives in one chat.
Facebook ads alerts on Telegram: what you can receive
| Type | When it arrives |
|---|---|
| Low-balance alert | When a balance drops below your threshold, with time left and a payment link |
| Account status alert | When an account is disabled or has a payment problem, and when it's active again |
| Rejected ad | When an ad in an active campaign is rejected |
| Performance alert | When cost per result spikes past your percentage, or a campaign spends with no results |
| Creative fatigue | Once a day when ads start to decline |
| Daily report | At the hour and time zone you choose |
| Weekly report | On the day you choose, compared with the previous week |
Connecting Telegram step by step
In Raqeeb Ads you connect Telegram from the dashboard in under a minute:
- Sign in and find the Alerts section on your dashboard.
- Click Connect Telegram.
- Click Open Telegram — the tool's bot chat opens.
- Tap Start in Telegram.
- Go back to the dashboard and refresh. It will show Telegram as connected, along with the linked account.
For security, the connection link is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, just click Connect Telegram again. You can disconnect at any time from the same place.
Bot commands: ask about your accounts in seconds
Once connected, you can ask the bot directly:
/balance— every prepaid account's balance and time left, sorted from closest to running out, with a marker on any account below its threshold./report— an instant report of today's numbers for each account: spend, results and cost per result./status— the status of your accounts and which alerts are on.
A real-world example: a client calls while you're out and asks how the ads are doing today. You send /report and answer with actual numbers in seconds.
What to do when each alert arrives
An alert is only as valuable as the action that follows. A short guide for each type:
| Alert | First step |
|---|---|
| Low balance | Top up, or forward the alert to the client right away — it includes the balance and time left |
| Account status changed | Open Account Quality and Billing to find the cause |
| Rejected ad | Read the reason, then edit or request a review |
| Cost per result spike | Compare CPM and CTR with previous days before changing anything |
| Spend with no results | Check tracking first, then the page and the ad |
| Creative fatigue | Prepare fresh versions and scale the tired ad down gradually |
Make Telegram a workspace, not a source of noise
- Pin the bot chat at the top of your chat list so it doesn't get buried.
- Don't mute it: alerts are infrequent by design, and each one deserves a look.
- Split channels wisely: urgent alerts like balance and account status on both Telegram and mobile; reports on Telegram only.
- Use search: the bot chat is an archive — search an account or campaign name to see its alert history.
Reading the daily report in a minute
For each account you get spend, results and cost per result. Read it in this order: is each account's spend close to normal? (A sudden drop can mean a stop.) Is cost per result within range? Is any account showing zero results? If everything looks normal, your day doesn't need Ads Manager except for the optimizations you planned.
Choose a channel for each alert type
Not every alert needs the same channel. You might want balance alerts on both Telegram and your phone because they're urgent, and the daily report on Telegram only. In Settings you choose Telegram, mobile notification, or both — per alert type.
Don't use Telegram? Use phone notifications
You can receive every alert as a phone notification without Telegram. Install Raqeeb Ads as an app straight from your browser — no app store needed:
- Android: open the site in Chrome and tap the install prompt.
- iPhone: open the site in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen" (requires iOS 16.4 or later).
Then turn on notifications in the Mobile notifications section of your dashboard. If the channel you chose isn't available for some reason, the alert goes out through the other one if it's set up.
